​Who We Are
We are a Royal Navy Recognised Sea Scout troop. So what does this mean? Basically this means our programme is mainly geared towards water activities, Although we do all the stuff normal scout troops do, Camping ETC we also provide Kayaking every week throughout the summer and Sailing is provided at our boating base Nr Kendal most sundays, We also try to fit in powerboating and many more activities.
A bit about us ..
There are around 350 Sea Scout groups and units in the UK and 103 of these are officially recognised by the Royal Navy. The scheme provides assurance of the standards of Scout programme, water activities, administration and ceremonial, and provides unique benefits to members.
We are the only water based group in lancaster and hope to be out on the water at least once a month, we also do alot of land based activities such as camps, Hikes and wide games.

We meet Every Friday at the scout HQ on halton rd across from the cemetary at 1930 and finish at 2130, programme differs from week to week so if you fancy coming along and seeing if you like it drop us an email and find out what we are doing and if you need anything in particular,
